Transportation and fleet services executive Daniel Florence has joined the company as president and chairman of the board. Fintech executives Souheil Badran and Kim Humphreys will also join the board alongside Swift Ride founder and CEO Sani Abdullah.
The appointments bring decades of experience in transportation, financial technology, operational scaling, capital markets and M&A to Swift Ride as the company prepares for its next phase of expansion.
In his role as president and chairman of the board, Florence will lead Swift Ride’s next phase of growth, with responsibility for enterprise operations, market expansion and fleet strategy.
Florence brings more than 30 years of experience in the transportation and fleet services industry. He most recently served as CEO and COO of AmeriDrive, one of the largest privately held vehicle subscription fleets in North America dedicated to serving gig drivers.
Previously, Florence oversaw North American operations as Chief Operating Officer of Sixt North America, part of the global mobility company offering transportation products and services including vehicle rentals, car subscriptions and car service. Prior to Sixt, Florence held leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz-owned car2go, Hertz and Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group.

Badran brings extensive expertise in digital and technology innovation, operational efficiency, M&A strategy and post-merger integration, with a track record of helping organizations grow and scale globally.
Kim Humphreys of Lionsbridge Investments, which led Swift Ride’s Series A, brings more than 30 years of experience launching and scaling B2B and B2C companies, including extensive experience in capital raising, strategic partnerships and M&A.
Humphreys also brings a deep understanding of the broader Swift Ride customer base through her role as founder and CEO of BYDcash, an immigration finance company designed to help foreign nationals and U.S. employers of immigrants navigate the U.S. immigration legal system.
